About Clappy – Find Your Phone: Our app helps you instantly locate your misplaced phone using clap detection, whistle recognition, and smart proximity alerts. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency about the data we collect.
This privacy policy applies to the Clappy – Find Your Phone mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by adeeldeveloperr (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service (with optional premium features). This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application collects certain information when you download and use it to provide core functionality (clap detection, phone ringing, and location assistance). This information may include:
The Application does NOT collect call logs, contacts, messages, or personal files. Microphone access is only triggered when the listening mode is turned on (you control this via in-app switch).
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and deliver relevant advertisements. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties as described in this privacy policy.

These third parties may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and interaction data to display personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of interest-based ads via your device settings.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. Use the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or via the app marketplace.
To disable microphone or location permissions at any time, go to your device's Settings > Apps > Clappy – Find Your Phone > Permissions and revoke access. The app will continue to work in basic flashlight/ring mode but clap detection may be limited.
You may also opt out of personalized advertisements by visiting Android's "Ads" settings or iOS "Privacy > Advertising" and enabling "Limit Ad Tracking".
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data (such as preferences and anonymized usage stats) for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter (generally up to 24 months). If you'd like the Service Provider to delete any User Provided Data, please contact [email protected] and they will respond in a reasonable timeframe.
Aggregated analytics data may be retained longer for trend analysis but will not identify you personally.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at [email protected] so that necessary actions can be taken.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information they process and maintain.
Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. We recommend keeping your device OS updated and using strong account credentials if you create an optional profile.

Optional location permission saves your phone's last seen GPS position, helping you retrace your steps.
Simultaneous flashing LED and maximum volume ringtone for visual + audible locating, even in silent mode.
Permission rationale: The app requests microphone only when you enable clap detection – no recording is stored. Location is optional and used exclusively to display a map of your device's last known position. Camera/Flash is used for the visual alert (strobe). You can manage all permissions at any time via your device settings.
